How I will find first 100 Paid Customer for my Startup, Part 1

I have just completed my MVP and integrated Live Chat to make it the first version of my product. It’s live here — neo.neoleads.in. This MVP solves two problems:

  1. It provides AI Website Customer Support to resolve 50% of your queries instantly.
  2. It increases your website conversion rate by up to 10%.

Now, how do you validate your MVP, and what should be the next step?

Real SaaS Metric

Should I focus on finding investors, or should I concentrate on finding test customers, or should I promote it with ads and see how many people are interested in the product? But let me tell you this what i believe: When you think of many key metrics to measure your startup growth, you start running from actual metrics and focus on some fake ones like the number of users, number of visitors to the website, or the number of leads generated. But in truth, for a SaaS startup, the only metric that matters is revenue, so don’t run from it. Create a roadmap to revenue generation.

My focus is on starting to sell the MVP because I need to show investors that the product is worth their investment and is the best opportunity they can get right now. In parallel, I will start finding investors for seed funding. So my next step is to make $100, meaning getting my first 10 paid customers.

First 100$ Revenue

You know, $100 might not seem like a big deal. I once spent that much on food in just one day while traveling in Singapore! But let me tell you, making that first $100 from my newly launched product is like hitting the jackpot because it gave you a confidence in your idea.

Here’s an idea of how I planned to generate $100 in revenue for my business: I need to decide the target audience for my MVP, which I have already done. My target audience will be e-commerce startups with website traffic between 10K to 1 Lakh. These are companies that can really pay for my software and are easy to contact because they will mostly be run by individuals or small teams, making them easy to sell to without bureaucracy.

My starter plan begins at $19 for e-commerce websites that want to have AI customer support on their site. I believe they will greatly benefit from this AI support, which can resolve their customer queries and generate more leads.

Next Step

Now, I will use email marketing channels, LinkedIn, and Facebook Instagram Ads to generate leads. I’ll need a video and ad poster, some email templates, and an email list. We can use Apollo for email marketing, as it will give us emails and a platform to send them. I’ll need a video to run ads, and then I’ll start scheduling demo meetings to close as many customers as possible and find out the truth of my belief.
